Introduction

Ibec represents Irish businesses both domestically and internationally. It is the umbrella organisation for over 40 different sectoral industry associations. It has over 7,500 members who employ over 70% of the private sector workforce in Ireland. Ibec lobbies government, policymakers, and other key stakeholders nationally and internationally. Ibec also provides a wide range of professional direct services to members, including employer advice and representation on HR and industrial relations issues.

Our relationship as Ibec’s digital partner since 2003. We have worked in partnership throughout this time to evolve the organisation’s use of digital to communicate and deliver intelligent and tailored services to their members.

Our partnership has delivered over 200 digital projects, all focused on using digital to deliver value to Ibec’s diverse audiences.

Two Decade Collaboration

Our 20-year partnership focused on collaborating with IT, the business, and the sectors to design and build their digital services.

Ibec has an exceptional Information Technology team that has led the development of the organisation's digital presence from the outset. As Ibec’s digital design partner, we work in close partnership to support the delivery of projects for the organisation and its sectors.

One of our primary roles over the years has been to educate and train staff on new services and techniques to harness digital, from websites to apps to social media. Our collaboration has flourished over the years. This relationship has ensured that the Information Technology team has the capability to independently build and manage all design solutions that we have designed and developed with the business stakeholders.

Redesigning Ibec

In 2018, we collaborated to plan the redesign of Ibec’s online presence. The program focused on:

• working with the executive and business teams to develop the business case for redesigning and re-platforming Ibec websites.
• supporting the strategic review to replace Lotus Notes as the incumbent content management system.
• developing the information architecture and content strategy to redesign a consolidated corporate and sectoral website.
• creation of the digital identity and visual design for the new online presence.
• building the new website on Sitecore, the market-leading digital experience platform.
• redesigning and migrating all business sector websites to Sitecore
• managing and supporting the websites hosted on Azure.
• delivering ongoing design, development and analytics consultancy to the business teams.
