Tourism Ireland delivers world-class marketing programmes in 14 markets across Great Britain, North America, Mainland Europe and Australia to promote the island. Their extensive and targeted activity programme includes advertising, overseas publicity, social media and digital marketing.
The website is a critical B2B and corporate destination for all targeted activities to support the ongoing programme, delivering comprehensive information and support services to these markets. As a result, a dedicated digital platform was required to support the global team.
Unified Experience
We created a unified digital communications platform that consolidated four standalone websites into a seamless experience for corporate, trade, media and industry audiences on the island of Ireland and worldwide.
The new platform would also empower the global teams supporting these audiences with a scalable, feature-filled content and marketing platform to deliver a comprehensive and tailored experience in all markets.
Promoting Businesses
Tourism Ireland is committed to working with industry partners on the island of Ireland to provide new and existing opportunities to grow their business in overseas markets through innovative partnership programmes. One of these initiatives is Industry Opportunities, which allows partners from the tourism industry to get involved in ongoing campaigns in overseas markets.
We consulted with stakeholders to redesign and develop the online feature, enabling businesses to find upcoming and ongoing market opportunities. Other supports include advertising and marketing toolkits for partners to use for campaigns and events, plus publicity programmes for the industry to gain exposure for their products and services.
Supporting Markets
With so many amazing things to see and do on the island of Ireland, it can be challenging to fit everything into one itinerary. Tourism Ireland supports international trade, which includes destination management companies and the media within key markets, to promote the island.
For trade, the new website delivers 'always on' access to the latest news and events, local market contacts and touring suggestions. For journalists, bloggers and social media influencers, extensive media resources, including story ideas, news and events, sample itineraries and audio-visual resources, are available for key markets.
